Оренбургский пуховый платок

The Orenburg industrial enterprise, “The Paris Commune Artel”, started its operations by knitting socks and mittens out of waste down. Within nine months of its inception in 1939, it was able to consign to the State 103 downy shawls – quite good for the start-up stage of this enterprise. The greater part of this delivery had been half-finished products turned over for completion by the “May 1st Factory”, which was by that time equipped with special machinery. “The Paris Commune Artel” produced the hand-knitted lace edging. During the post-war period, the “The Paris Commune Artel” expanded. It became the owner of “miracle knitting machines” – flat-purl machines for the simplest knit fabric of uniform links. Three of these were given by colleagues from the “May 1st Factory”, and a fourth was taken from a private individual. The first machine knitter was Maria Filippova. Later P. M. Mikhailova, A. I. Mironova and N. M. Lukyanova learned that trade. After the flat-purl machines were put into operation, shawl output increased significantly. In 1946, the State got 348 shawls. In time, the collective began to accumulate some capital. It became necessary to think of building a new workshop. Однако за девять месяцев 1939 года она сдала государству 103 пуховых платка, хотя работа еще только начиналась. Большая часть платков была полуфабрикатом, поступающим с фабрики им. Первого Мая, оснащенной к тому времени специальными стан- ками. Вязанием ажурной каймы занимались вручную. В послевоенный период хозяйство артели расширилось. Она стала вла- дельцем «чудо-машин» для трикотажного вязания. Были поставлены обо- ротные машины для простейшего одинарного основовязаного полотна, со- стоящего из одинаковых петель. Три машины были переданы коллегам с фабрики им. Первого Мая, одну получили у частного лица. Первой вязальщицей на машине была Мария Фи- липпова. С вводом оборотных машин увеличился выпуск платков.
