Оренбургский пуховый платок

On March 20, 1939, the general organizing meeting of the down-knitting craftswomen of the city of Tchkalov (Orenburg’s name in 1938–1957) took the decision to establish there a co-operative by the name “The Paris Commune Artel” (the latter is a traditional term in Russia for co-operative associations for various enterprises) for the production of consumer goods from waste of down and for the knitting of shawls. The meeting adopted the following Charter, which set forth the tasks and goals of the collective: “The working people of Tchkalov city – craftswomen, craftsmen, and artisans – voluntarily unite to form a production artel of craftsmen for the purpose of establishing through common means and cooperative labour – instead of backward home industries – a co-operative enterprise which will use advance techniques and a socialist labour organization. This artel will contribute to the elevation of communal cooperative industry and socialist reconstruction of the country and will lead to the improvement of the material situation of its members, their acculturation and to the eradication of the exploitation of men by men, poverty, ignorance… The artel rises to the challenge of organizing and developing the down knitting industry and other similar kinds of industries”. 20 марта 1939 года общее организационное собрание кустарей-пуховя- зальщиц приняло решение организовать в городе Чкалове (Оренбург с 1938 по 1957 гг.) «артель по выработке ширпотреба из пуховых отходов и вяз- ке пуховых платков, присвоив ей наименование «Артель имени Парижской Коммуны». Собрание приняло Устав, который определил цели и задачи кол- лектива: «Трудящиеся города Чкалова, кустари и ремесленники добровольно объединяются в промысловую производственную артель, чтобы общими средствами и совместным трудом построить на месте отсталого домаш- него производства промышленность, коллективное предприятие с высокой техникой и социалистической организацией труда, и таким путем содейс- твовать общему подъему кооперативной промышленности и социалисти- ческому строительству страны, улучшению материального положения и повышению культурного уровня членов, уничтожению эксплуатации труда, нужды, темноты…Артель ставит себе задачей организовать и развивать пуховый промысел и другие, связанные с ним подобные промыслы». 64 65 66 67 68 69 67 71 72 73 В красном уголке артели им Парижской Коммуны.
