Оренбургский пуховый платок

В начале 18 века обширная территория Оренбургского края заселена была мало. Отчасти эти свободные земли и послужили причиной широко- го переселенческого движения на Южный Урал и в Приуралье, начавшего- ся с момента основания Оренбурга, образования губернии и сооружения укрепленной пограничной линии на южном рубеже Российской Империи. В частности, в Оренбургском крае во второй половине 18 века основную массу переселенцев составляли выходцы из Среднего Поволжья и Цент- рально-Черноземного района. В первой половине 19 века население Оренбуржья пополнили десятки тысяч семей из Тамбовской, Пензенской, Воронежской, Курской, Рязанской, Орловской и Тульской губерний. Служивший в Оренбурге чиновником по особым поручениям выдающийся лексикограф, автор «Толкового словаря великорусского языка» Владимир Даль со знанием дела писал в 1852 году: «Оренбургская губерния, заселенная искони инородцами, большей частью кочевыми, наполнилась русскими двадцати губерний». At the beginning of the 18th century, the vast territory of the Orenburg province was sparsely populated. In a short time, many people were drawn to this and neighbouring areas of the South Urals. This large-scale migration resulted in the foundation of Orenburg, the formation of the province and the construction of the fortified border on these southern outskirts of the Russian Empire. In the second half of the 18th century, the bulk of the migrants to the Orenburg province came from the Middle Volga and Central chernozem (black earth) regions. In the first half of the 19th century, the population of the Orenburg province was increased by tens of thousands families, who came from the provinces of Tambov, Penza, Voronezh, Kursk, Ryazan, Orel and Tula.
